Alma-Via is a traditional Saxon farmhouse that has been lovingly restored and converted into a Guesthouse & Restaurant. It is located right in the heart of Transylvania, in the village of Alma Vii, between Sibiu and Medias. Many cultural sites and medieval attractions are within easy reach, which makes Alma-Via a great base to start exploring Transylvania.

Over a period of three years, we have restored and renovated the building back to its old, traditional charme, but with the comfort of the modern traveler in mind. At the same time, we have re-errected an old barn at the same spot where there has always stood a barn for centuries. This barn now serves as our restaurant, Sadly, the original barn was sold shortly before we bought the property.
A lot of work went into the restoration of Alma-Via Guesthouse and Restaurant. You can have a look at some pictures here.

About the Alma-Via Restaurant (reservation needed)

The heart and soul of Alma-Via is our old barn, which we transported from near Brasov to its new home. After many months of work, it is now our restaurant and café. But it has also already served successfully as a meeting-, conference- and workshop room. Also as a dance floor, library, cinema, and much more!
